| | By SceneDaily Staff Penske Racing officials say Kurt Busch will drive in the Rolex 24 at Daytona next month as part of collaboration between Penske and Wayne Taylor Racing.
Busch will team with two-time Indianapolis 500 winner Helio Castroneves and sports-car veteran Ryan Briscoe in a Riley-Pontiac fielded by Penske-Taylor Racing.
Busch will be making his second Rolex 24 at Daytona start. He finished 27th in 2005.
"The driver lineup and the team Roger has put together are really strong," said Taylor, who will field two cars in the race. "There are three drivers from three different racing disciplines. Ryan's driven with us before, so we know him very well. Helio, well, the guy's a superstar. And Kurt Busch, he's a NASCAR champion and a very good road racer.
"It's certainly a lineup that will draw a lot of attention. And, without question, it gives us two strong contenders for the race win."
Castroneves and Briscoe will be teammates for Penske's Indy Racing League team in 2008.
