| | | | | | Fantasy picks for Centurion Boats at the Glen
Roger: I watched at Sonoma in June when Richard Childress Racing, led by Kevin Harvick, finished 2-3-4 in the first road course race of the season. Harvick has six top 10 finishes in 13 road course races and once again is a threat to finish in the top five every week. You also might remember he’s the defending champion of this race.
Sleeper: Boris Said.
Not so fast: Jimmie Johnson.
Vinnie: It’s good you’re looking to the past with Harvick, Roger, but history tells me a different story – that Tony Stewart is the best bet to win. He’s 3-for-8 at this track, and Smoke is again as hot as the weather in August. Harvick, meanwhile, has cooled off since he won at The Glen last season and will be the one finishing second behind his good friend. Here, kitty, kitty.
Sleeper: Robby Gordon.
Not so fast: Matt Kenseth.
Last week: Vinnie scored a third place with Mr. Pocono, Denny Hamlin, but didn’t pick up much ground because Roger’s pick, Ryan Newman, finished seventh.
Standings after 21 races: Roger, 2,881; Vinnie 2,726.
