| | SceneDaily Staff Richard Childress Racing officials say veteran NASCAR Sprint Cup driver Ken Schrader will attempt to qualify the team's No. 33 Chevrolet for the May 24 Coca-Cola 600 at Lowe's Motor Speedway.
The fourth RCR entry, which is running a limited schedule this season, has been driven by Scott Wimmer earlier this year.
Schrader, 57, has one win, six top-five and 13 top-10 finishes in 44 starts at Lowe’s Motor Speedway.
