Matt Kenseth has a penchant for success: He can completely win races like here in Atlanta, and even when his team misses the setup on their car (like at Bristol), he still finishes well.

Matt Kenseth team misses setup, still lands top-10 finish

BRISTOL, TN -- When most Sprint Cup teams miss the setup on their race car, their drivers usually finish outside the top 10 – and sometimes well outside the top 10.
But Matt Kenseth and his Roush Fenway Racing team seem to have a knack for bringing their car home with a solid finish, even after having a bad day or an ill-handling car.
The Food City 500 at Bristol Motor Speedway was such an example. Kenseth started fourth after qualifying was rained out, but he was never a threat to win the race.
Still, crew chief Chip Bolin worked to make the No. 17 Ford better, and Kenseth drove hard and finished 10th, his third top-10 of the 2008 season.
"We just missed it real bad and could never really fix it," Kenseth said. "The guys did a good job in the pits, and we made as many adjustments as we Could, and we hung in there on the lead lap because we had a good starting spot, but we just missed it a lot."
