RaceTalkRadio Top 20: Now Kyle is Rowdy on the road courses
New Hampshire Motor Speedway
Every once in a while one of those DREAM SEASONS occurs in NASCAR. Jeff Gordon won 13 races in 1998 and took the title by over 350 points! Dale Earnhardt won the title by over 400 pts in 1987 as well as 11 races. The KING Richard Petty won 21 times in 1971!

Are we seeing the signature season of the 2000s by Kyle Busch this year?

Rowdy showed that he is just as fast turning right and left and lengthens his lead in the RaceTalkRadio NASCAR Top 20 after a 2-week slump. Second through fifth place remain unchanged with Dale Jr., Carl Edwards, Jeff Burton, and Jimmie Johnson in those positions.

New to the NASCAR Top 20 this week is David Gilliland…fresh off a career-best 2nd place finish at Sonoma! AJ Allmendinger struggled with equipment woes and slips off the Top 20 after a one-week stay.

Our biggest Dream Factory Inc Rising Star this week was Jeff Gordon up 3 spots to 7th with Denny Hamlin the suffering the biggest drop ... down 2 slots to 9th.

The NASCAR Cup circuit moves east to the newly named New Hampshire Motor Speedway. Can anyone cut into Kyle Busch’s lead? Can Kurt Busch hold on in his battle to stay in the top 20?

Check out the RaceTalkRadio NASCAR Top 20 next week to find out!
